English Comedy Night in Lebowski's Antwerpen

Woensdag 31 augustus 2016 — Op 21 september vindt de allereerste English Comedy Night plaats in Lebowski's Antwerpen. Met deze show starten Live Comedy en Lebowski’s een nieuwe traditie van Engelstalige line-up comedy avonden in de gloednieuwe Antwerpse comedyclub. Op de eerste editie bemannen Canadees John Hastings en Ier Tom O'Mahony het podium. Op 23 november komen Australiër Damian Clark en Ier Keith Farnan afgezakt naar de koekenstad en 7 december zijn Alfie Brown uit Engeland en Daliso Chaponda uit Malawi aan de beurt. Meer data en namen worden later bekend gemaakt.

Omwille van deze nieuwe samenwerking tussen Live Comedy en Lebowski’s, mogen we je uitnodigen op de opening van de nieuwe comedyclub Lebowski’s dit weekend. Op zaterdag 3 september opent Lebowski's - het vroegere Café des Arts tegenover treinstation Antwerpen-Berchem - zijn deuren. Mede-eigenaar Kamal Kharmach is MC die avond en kondigt Nederlanders Jim Speelmans en Bram Van de Velde aan en niemand minder dan Jacques Vermeire sluit de komische show af.

On the 21st of September, the very first English Comedy Night will take place at Lebowski’s in Antwerp. With this event, Live Comedy and Lebowski’s are starting a new tradition of English spoken line-up comedy nights in the brand new comedy club in Antwerp. The first edition invites Canadian John Hasting and Irishman Tom O’Mahony to the stage. On the 23rd of November, Australian Damian Clark and Irishman Keith Farnan will be welcomed in Antwerp and on the 7th of December, Alfie Brown from England and Daliso Chaponda from Malawi are bringing laughter to Lebowski’s. 

To celebrate this exciting new collaboration between Live Comedy and Lebowski’s, we gladly invite you to the festive opening of the new comedy club this weekend. On Saturday the 3rd of September, Lebowski’s – the former Café des Arts, situated right in front of train station Antwerpen-Berchem - will open its doors. Co-owner Kamal Kharmach will be the MC that night and will present Dutch comedians Jim Speelmans and Bram Van de Velde. Belgian comedian Jacques Vermeire will close this Dutch spoken comedy show.
