Irish legend Tommy Tiernan live on stage in Belgium
at Bozar Brussels on the 7th of February
Hot on the heels of Tommy’s critically acclaimed 2015 UK tour, Irish comedian, actor and writer Tommy Tiernan is now bringing his stand up show ‘Out of the Whirlwind’ to Brussels on the 7th of February.
‘Out of the Whirlwind’ is literally a whirlwind of Tommy’s thoughts and observations, that polarizes the every-day ‘nonsenses’ of life that surrounds us all. Profound, sometimes dark yet whimsical and silly too, the main thing is that Tiernan always retains a great charm and roguishness that allows him to say things others just couldn’t get away with.
There is something of the zeitgeist about stand-up Tommy Tiernan. A legend in his own country of Ireland, Tommy’s sublime mastery of stand-up allows him to take risks other comedians dare not. Through hilarious story telling and a high energy, non-apologetic delivery he continually challenges his audience who can be confident they are in safe hands.
Tommy Tiernan’s record-breaking ticket sales extend across the world, including the UK, USA and Canada. In 2013 he performed a sold-out tour of Australia and New Zealand – which included two performances at The Sydney Opera House on the same night. His last tour of Europe included Finland, France, Austria, Germany, Sweden, Switzerland and Estonia. And now he’s adding Brussels to the list.
To see Tiernan live is a rare treat, as his performances mesmerise in a way that is joyful, uplifting, inspirational and most importantly breathtakingly funny.
