Maz Jobrani returns to Belgium
13th of April 2016 at Arenberg Antwerp
Iranian-American comedian and actor Maz Jobrani is coming back to Anwerp on the 13th of April with his new comedy show “I’m Not A Terrorist, But I’ve Played One On TV”. Tickets will be on sale this Friday the 29th of January at 10:00 am.
He follows up his bestselling book with a hilarious comedy show of the same title. In his laugh-out-loud memoir, Maz shares his struggle to build an acting career, as he was always asked to play a terrorist, but never got to audition for any doctor or lawyer parts. A hilarious story about his quest to make it in Hollywood without having to wear a turban or to tote a bomb. He takes on political issues, social issues and his kids through the lens of his Iranian-American background to show that we have a lot more in common than we think.
Maz Jobrani is a founding member of The Axis of Evil Comedy Tour, which first aired on Comedy Central. He has performed stand-up all over the world and Middle East, including in front of the King of Jordan and in The Tonight Show.
Rumour has it he’s especially excited to visit Belgium again after his successful passage in 2014. Get ready for an unforgettable night, filled with audience participation, making fun of stereotypes without sparing anyone. Not even himself.
