Michael McIntyre announces first show in Belgium

British comedy superstar Michael McIntyre adds a Belgian stop on his MACNIFICENT tour. His performance at Lotto Arena Antwerp on 6 February 2024 will mark his first ever arenashow in Belgium. Tickets for this show will go on sale starting 3 November at 10 AM through LiveComedy.be.

Michael McIntyre is back on stage with his brand new show MACNIFICENT. Much has happened in the five years since his last tour and Michael will be making mirth from the madness of it all.

McIntyre, renowned for his sharp wit and impeccable comedic timing, has captured the hearts of audiences worldwide with his unique observational comedy. His previous tours have sold over four million tickets and broken box-office records around the world. On his world tours, he has performed on almost every continent, including countries such as Hong Kong, Singapore, South Africa, Australia, Norway, the Netherlands, and of course the UK, Ireland, USA and Canada. He holds the record for the highest selling artist at London’s O2, the UK’s biggest arena, for 28 sold out shows.

The British stand-up comedian first shot to fame with his 2006 appearance at the Royal Variety Performance. Since this big break, he has performed two more times at the event, including in 2010 when he became the youngest-ever host. From 2009 until 2011, he hosted 'Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow' on BBC One, which further solidified his international success.

In 2016 Michael began hosting the hit BBC One show ‘Michael McIntyre’s Big Show’. Now in its seventh series, the show has won several awards including a BAFTA for Best Entertainment Performance. The show includes popular items such as 'Send to All', 'Unexpected Stars' and 'Midnight Gameshow'. In 2020 Michael devised and hosted the hit BBC One gameshow ‘Michael McIntyre’s The Wheel'. He also hosted the American edition of 'The Wheel' on NBC in 2022.

Michael McIntyre has appeared in numerous other television shows such as 'Live at the Apollo', 'Britain's Got Talent', 'Top Gear', 'Mock The Week', '8 Out of 10 Cats' and 'Alan Carr's Chatty Man', to name but a few. In 2010, McIntyre appeared on Belgian tv as one of the artists in 'Comedy Casino'. In 2020 he released his Netflix special 'Showman'.
